The cavalry take the longest to paint but they look stunning when I finally finish each trooper. Commanders take even longer because of the detail I put into each character. I want it to be when one looks at my army on the table they can pick out and recognize each individual commander. So I tried to inject as much character as I could into them. ;)
The sergeant reviews the new men.
Alright you dogs! Get in line you 'orrible excuses for shite stains!
What's that private?! D'you 'ave sumthin' you want to share? Maybe you want to share your thoughts on 'ow we're going to march all day in full kit until every last one o' you drops dead!
Meanwhile in the Dragoons... "Look at the footsloggers Senior Pedro. Do they not make you glad that we have our horses and the women of the village to keep us from such hardship?"
Alright you sods! Look sharp!
Comte Lumerier and General Spoletti review the men.
Freshly made field pieces for the Count's artillery. Complete with Count's arms fashioned into the bronze barrels.
Like it, the sergeant seems a kind hearted soul, I like the idea of making the generals look as much as possible like the characters that will be in the blog. I may steal... err, borrow that idea.
